Please complete this nomination form and return the completed nomination form, before 4:30 pm on Monday, March 9, 2026, together with your 250-word profile, 2-minute video (if that is your choice of presentation), and jpeg photograph to admin@reddeerdrive.ca. Please indicate “Nominating Committee - Confidential” on the email subject line.
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR NOMINATION, COMPLETED FORMS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4:30 pm on MONDAY, March 9, 2025
The nomination form must be completed by all individuals interested in being nominated for election to the Red Deer D.R.I.V.E. Economic Development Association Board of Directors.
To be qualified for election as a Director, a person shall:

be a Shareholder in the Association;

be at least 18 years of age at the date of their election;
-
meet other criteria as established by Board policy
In addition to the above noted qualifications, the current Board of Directors is seeking individuals having one or more of the following identified core competencies that ideally will be reflected in the Red Deer D.R.I.V.E. Economic Development Association and ensure that the Board is composed of qualified and skilled persons capable of, and committed to, providing effective leadership to the Red Deer D.R.I.V.E. Economic Development Association:

Knowledge of policy governance, strategic visioning, finances and business planning;

Legal and risk management expertise;
-
Demonstrated leadership skills in non-profit or other endeavors;
-
Advocacy in championing the mission to potential stakeholders and partners;

Entrepreneurial mindset.
Documentation Required to Complete the Nomination Process:

Attached Nomination Form signed by current Shareholders in good standing.

Photograph/Profile: Please submit a head and shoulders photograph (jpeg format) with a plain background, with your 250-word profile, together with the following nomination form.

Be prepared for a 2-minute presentation. You may present in person at the AGM about yourself for a maximum 2 minutes or submit a maximum 2-minute video with your nomination package to be played at the AGM.
